Conference Registration

Pre-registration is advisable to save time and money, and to ensure your registration package will be available when the conference starts. The only registration method available is through the conference web site, as it places your details directly into our database, and where you can pay by credit card (Visa, Master, Diners, Discover, and American Express) through our secure web server. Wire transfers will be accepted only until October 16, 2020, and will be charged a USD 50.00 service fee. You will receive all detailed information on wire transfers with your confirmation after you have registered. All fees and items are charged in US Dollars and are exempt from GST (tax).

Registration will remain open until Saturday, November 7, 2020 (12 pm Boston Time) to accommodate those who wish to view the presentations during and after the conference week. The online live event viewing site will close on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 18:59 Boston Time. After that, nearly all of the video presentations (oral/poster) will be available. In addition, all uploaded material for the presentations (slides and posters) can be downloaded in the conference system to be viewed and can be viewed by participants until the end of November.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you place an on-site order it might take up  to 8 h until you receive your access information for the Virtual 2020 IEEE NSS MIC conference, but we are trying to send the login information shortly after we received your order.

   (a) IEEE Membership Number required at the time of registration.
   (b) Proof of student status required – If you want to take advantage of the reduced IEEE Student or Non-IEEE Student    registration fee you need to provide proof of student eligibility by e-mailing a copy of your student status certificate or ID card to ieee@eventclass.com in advance of the conference If you do not provide the student status documentation you will be charged the full registration rate.
   (c) IEEE Life Members should do a standard IEEE member registration and proceed to the next page and then select IEEE Life Member to obtain their reduced registration.

Group Reservation

We are offering for the first time the opportunity to purchase registrations in bulk at steeply discounted rates. Institutions such as universities, companies, national laboratories, may buy bulk registrations for 50 or 100 individuals at a time for as much as 60% savings on individual rates. Registering During the Conference

All registrations during the conference week (on-site) will be performed via the online registration page. If you choose to register during the conference, you must register yourself online.

We accept credit card (Visa, Master, Diners, Discover, and American Express)

If you register for the on-site rate after October 24, 2020 please take into account that it can take up to 36 hours until you receive your access to the conference. Delays may be the result of,  payment verification, and manually propagating your credentials to the systems involved to grant you access. Thank you for your attention and your understanding.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellation requests (partial or full) must be received in writing by October 23, 2020 for consideration. Approved refunds (less a USD 50 administrative fee) will be issued after November 30, 2020. No refunds will be issued for requests received after October 23, 2020.

Student Discount

To benefit from the reduced student fees a verification of your student status is required. Please provide proof of student eligibility by e-mailing a copy of your student status certificate (official institution letterhead) or ID card (with expiration date) to ieee@eventclass.com after you have registered successfully, and bring your original student status certificate letter or ID card when you pick up your conference documents at the registration desk. Both actions are mandatory to be eligible for a student registration. If you do not provide the student status documentation you will be charged the full registration rate.

Per IEEE, students are those individuals enrolled at least 50% full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the time of the conference. Post-doctoral fellows (post-docs) are not qualified for the student discount.

IEEE Member Discount

To  benefit from the reduced IEEE Member fees, a live-verification of your IEEE member status is required. While registering please have your IEEE member ID and your login to the IEEE member gateway for the conference at hand. To become a member please refer to the “IEEE Membership” section below.

Electronic Registration

Only electronic registration is accepted. To register online, go to the registration site and follow the instructions there. An acknowledgement of your registration will be sent upon its receipt and payment.

IEEE Membership

An IEEE Membership Desk will be located near the Registration Desk. Staff will be available to answer questions about membership benefits. Conference attendees who paid non-member registration fees are eligible for a $100 discount towards a regular (non-student) IEEE 2021 membership that also includes free membership in NPSS — all courtesy of NPSS. Students joining at the conference can receive one year’s free membership by providing a statement from their mentor that they are full-time students. Online access to the Transactions on Nuclear Science and Transactions on Plasma Science journals, as well as the NPSS newsletter is included with NPSS membership. Please visit the IEEE Membership Desk to take advantage of these offers.

Note that new membership obtained at the Conference does not provide eligibility for reduced IEEE member registration fees.

To become a member before registering for the conference, visit https://www.ieee.org/membership/join/index.html.  If you become a member just before registering, you will need to email ieee@eventclass.com, and provide proof of your new membership, including your membership number.  Once your new number is entered into our system, you will be notified that you can proceed with registration as a member.
