Visa Documentation Letter

Visa support letters are available upon request. Visa letters will only be issued to:

      • speakers and presenters
      • Authors
      • committee members
      • attendees who have paid their registration fee in full (payment will be verified)
      • exhibitors who have paid their exhibitor fee in full.

Please request your visa letter through the conference system which requires a personal login.

If you have not registered yourself previously please create a new account in the conference system. After you have logged in successfully go to “My Profile,” click the tab “Request Visa Letter” and follow the instructions.

Visa letters will be issued based upon your role (presenter, author, exhibitor, attendees, committee members) and the current status of your activities (accepted paper as oral/poster, registered for the conference, or paid fee).

Getting to Tampa

Airport

Tampa International Airport (TPA)
If you’re flying to Tampa, you’ll likely arrive at Tampa International Airport (TPA). It  is the closest airport to downtown Tampa and The Tampa Convention Center. It is 7 miles away and a 15–20-minute drive. TPA offers a convenient gateway to the city. The airport serves numerous domestic and international destinations, with a variety of airlines providing direct flights.

Cabs, shuttle buses, rental cars and ride-sharing services are available at Tampa International Airport. You can find out more about ground transportation here.

St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE)
St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) is another option for travelers visiting the Tampa Bay area. While PIE is located approximately 20 miles northwest of downtown Tampa, it still offers convenient access to the region. From PIE, visitors can reach downtown Tampa in approximately 30–40 minutes by car, depending on traffic conditions.

The Airport also offers various transportation services for travelers arriving in the Tampa Bay area. Additionally, car rental options are available at the airport for those who prefer the convenience and flexibility of having their own vehicle.

Driving into Tampa

The Tampa Convention Center is located at 333 S Franklin St, Tampa, FL 33602, in Downtown Tampa.

From Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice, Ft. Myers, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Naples:

Take I-75 North to I-4 West to Tampa I-275 Junction. Exit 45A.  Follow signs for Tampa Street.  Stay in the middle lane to enter the garage.

From St. Petersburg & Clearwater Airport

Take I-275 North.  Exit 44.  Follow signs for Tampa Street.  Stay in the middle lane to enter the garage.

From Orlando, Lakeland, Plant City, Daytona, Jacksonville:

Take I-4 West to Tampa to I-275 Junction.  Exit 45A.  Follow signs for Tampa Street. Stay in the middle lane to enter the garage.

Things to do in Tampa

During the conference, we recommend stopping by the “Visit Tampa Bay” table to meet with a Destination Ambassador near the Rotunda! The ambassador will be available from 7:30am to 12:00pm to provide local area information. Ambassadors can provide information on dining, restaurant reservations, directions, brochures, attraction information, golf courses and reservations, TCC directions and information, shopping, hotel information, and more. Come have a cup of coffee with other attendees, friends or companions and get options to explore Tampa together.

Food and Drinks

Street Car

Hop on the TECO Line Streetcar and head downtown Tampa to check out all the city has to offer. The streetcar connects Downtown Tampa, Channel District, and Ybor City. Service is FREE seven days a week to 11 covered wheelchair-accessible stations every 15 minutes.

Ybor City

Once the cigar capital of the world, Ybor City is a vibrant area in Tampa that boasts an exciting nightlife and delicious food. Ybor City has something for everyone, from live music venues to trendy bars and nightclubs.

Sparkman Wharf

Check out this channel side District outdoor entertainment space with excellent dining options available. Everything from bowling, waterfront views, live music, shopping, and the Florida Aquarium just steps away!

Armature Works

Once used as Tampa Electric’s streetcar warehouse, this fully restored building now features a rooftop lounge and a variety of local eateries serving everything from sushi to empanadas to pizzas.

Columbia Restaurant

Located in the heart of historic Ybor City, the Columbia has strong roots being the oldest restaurant in Florida ℠ (est. 1905). Their menu serves up a mix of Cuban and Spanish food, including their original Cuban Sandwich, named the “Best Sandwich in Florida” by Food & Wine Magazine.

Bern’s Steakhouse

Streetcar How to Ride

Here you can find more information about the Street Car, which departs directly in front of the conference center and takes you to attractions as well as to Ybor City with lots of restaurants. A great ride awaits you.

Public Transportation
