NSS Dinner

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable Monday evening on October 28, 2024, as we gather at the illustrious Florida Aquarium, located at 701 Channelside Dr., Tampa, FL 33602. A mere 18-minute scenic stroll from the conference center, this path takes you along the stunning Tampa waterfront, setting the stage for the evening ahead.

We are thrilled to offer you an exclusive after-hours experience at the aquarium, allowing us to explore its wonders in a serene, uncrowded environment. Following a reception among the captivating exhibits, we will ascend to the Aquarium’s rooftop, where a sumptuous dinner awaits us against the backdrop of the Tampa Bay, illuminated by the golden hues of the sunset.

This is a perfect opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and forge new friendships in a truly mesmerizing setting.

Self-Guided Tour
Anyone that wants to take advantage of the Self-Guided-Tour will need to arrive at 6:00pm to start the tour. We will have greeters outside that will direct them through the main entrance and they will go up the first floor stairs and through the Wetlands. If guests arrive at 6:20pm, we will start directing them to the rooftop as they won’t have enough time to go through the exhibit. To get to the rooftop, the greeters outside will direct your guests through a private elevator bay and we will have signage for guests to take the elevator to the 3^rd floor.

The evening commences at 6:30pm where you can enjoy the iconic glass Wetlands dome featuring a lush mangrove forest tunnel. The dinner to be served at 7:30pm. Join us for an evening where the beauty of nature meets the joy of camaraderie.

RTSD Luncheon

Join us for the highly anticipated RTSD Luncheon event! The RTSD Luncheon 2024 will set sail on a delightful cruise around the picturesque Tampa Bay. The luxurious Star Ship II provides an ideal setting for our nautical excursion, allowing us to explore the wonders of Tampa Bay. During the cruise, guests will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with colleagues, while indulging in a delectable three-course lunch menu.

Conveniently located near the conference center, the embarkation point for the boat trip is within easy walking distance, ensuring a seamless transition from business to leisure. We look forward to welcoming you aboard for a great journey filled with networking, relaxation, and the scenic beauty of Tampa Bay.

MIC Dinner

Sail away on an enchanting evening aboard the Yacht Starship! Experience a delightful dinner cruise, where you can enjoy delicious cuisine and stunning views.

Please join us on Friday evening, November 01, 2024, for the MIC dinner cruise. The yacht has three decks, including an outdoor promenade deck for enjoying the Florida autumn warmth.

The evening begins with boarding at 7 pm and sailing at 7:30 pm sharp. The cruise departs from just outside the Tampa Convention Center. The boat will return to the dock at 10 pm.

Exhibitor “Happy Hour”

The 2024 IEEE NSS-MIC-RTSD Exhibitors’ Reception will be held in the East Hall from 6:00 to 7:30 pm on Tuesday October 29. It will be a great opportunity to relax, check out the exhibits and connect with friends and colleagues before heading out for the evening. Complimentary beer, wine and light snacks will be available. Please join us!

Coffee breaks on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be in the exhibit area. Tables and chairs will be there for you to relax with friends.

Conference Reception

Join us for the Conference Reception on Wednesday evening in the Ballroom C-D, lower level in the Conference Centre. This complimentary event will feature dinner and drinks for all attendees and their registered companions.
