NSS Dinner

We are thrilled to welcome you to the NSS dinner, which will be held at El Claustro Restaurant in the Hotel Palacio de Santa Paula. The venue is set in a beautiful ancient cloister, featuring spectacular monastic architecture, and is located in the historic district of Granada—just a 5-minute walk from Granada Cathedral.
The dinner will begin with a welcome reception at 7:45, followed by a gourmet buffet-dinner featuring local Andalusian specialties, paired with selected Spanish wines. This will be an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and celebrate the scientific achievements of our community in a relaxed and culturally rich atmosphere.

RTSD Lunch

This year, the RTSD Luncheon will serve as the closing event of the RTSD Conference 2026. The luncheon will take place on Thursday, November 12, and is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We are pleased to invite you to join us for this special occasion at Carmen de los Chapiteles, located on the hillside of the Alhambra. Recognized as one of Granada’s distinguished historic estates, Carmen de los Chapiteles brings together terraced gardens, Moorish courtyards, and Renaissance architecture in an elegant and memorable setting.
With its exceptional views of the Albayzín and the city of Granada, the venue will provide an outstanding backdrop for collegial exchange, networking, and continued engagement within the RTSD community.
The venue is approximately a 40-minute walk from the conference site. Transportation by bus will also be available and may be booked in advance.

MIC Dinner

This year’s MIC Dinner will be held at Carmen de los Chapiteles, a beautiful and historic estate where you will enjoy wonderful conversation, food, wine, and one of Granada’s most iconic views overlooking the Alhambra and Albayzin.
You will be greeted with a surprise activity and pre-dinner drinks starting at 7:45pm followed by a delicious buffet style dinner from 8:30pm – 10:00pm. At 10:00pm, change into your dancing shoes and dance the night away to music provided by our favourite MIC DJ.
Only 250 seats are available so early registration is recommended.
Getting There
Carmen de los Chapiteles is a pleasant 33-minute walk from the Granada Congress Center or a 24 minutes walk from the town center. Shuttle bus transfers between the Granada Congress Center and the venue can be reserved at additional cost when registering for the dinner. The first bus from the Congress Center departs at 7:30pm and the last bus will depart the venue at 11:30pm. The exact pickup location at the Congress Center will be provided closer to the date.

Plus: Coffee breaks on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be held right in the exhibit area, complete with tables and chairs—your ideal spot to recharge and socialize between sessions.
